Blessed

The motorhome has been collected, is sat looking large on the drive and it's packed (although I keep on adding one or two 'extras'). I'm ready. I think.

It's been a bit of a strange couple of weeks but I've had a lovely send off from the parish. Prayed for after our wider ministry team meeting and the Sunday service a few days ago ahead of our Annual Meeting. I've also had emails, texts and cards all wishing me a 'good sabbatical'. I am very much richly blessed. It certainly feels that I'm being prayed on my way.

Whilst I've been told to 'forget about work/the parish', that will be easier said than done and part of my time will be reflecting on my ministry here - and thanking God for all that I've been given. I will also be praying for members of the congregation and community.
