Planning.....or trying to!

With four weeks to go before I set off I'm juggling a few things - most importantly is the day job and ensuring that I'm not distracted by what's happening next month. I've started to think about what I need to finish as well as the things that might crop up in my absence. The last thing I want to happen is people to be left with unexpected things that I should have known were going to occur. I've also got Holy Week and Easter to navigate and the week after Easter, our APCM and the farewells to our amazing curate, Lorraine who will be moving on to another parish in Bournemouth.
I'm sure it will all be ok! I've started a number of lists (I'm great at starting countless lists - they're never in a book or somewhere sensible but on postcard sized pieces of card which probably aren't bit enough! There are times when I struggle a bit with the plans I'm making for two thirds of my time away - booking camping sites and thinking about where I'm going to travel to. My dad died last August and he would have loved to hear of my plans as well as being a 'go to' person for advice on campsites both in France and this country. I'm missing sharing that excitement and the planning with him. And he was a great list writer; much more organised at it than I am.
As I'm writing this, I'm procrastinating. A sermon is required for tomorrow so I should really focus on that!
